"Chance was offering a women's self-defense class at our church and I totally did not want to go.   I reluctantly went because my husband really wanted me to, and I fully expected to not enjoy it.   I never actually described myself as a pacifist, but I guess I sort of was by default because I didn't really know how to fight - to defend myself, or for any other reason - and didn't really care to learn.  By the end of the class I was hooked and ended up taking private lessons with Chance for months.  And, turns out, I enjoyed every minute of it (well, maybe not when he was kicking my a$$).  Chance is a phenomenial teacher, especially for women.  He doesn't make you feel dumb, or week or like you need to be more 'manly' (whatevere that means) in order to be able to defend yourself.  He will make you feel strong, and empowered and ready to protect yourself and your loved ones in pretty much any situation.   The most important part of it for me was not necessarily learning how to defend myself, but learning how to defend my two young daughters."
